I tried taking the pictures of our kiddos for our Christmas cards this year. Some turned out cute, I think anyway. I have to admit I have a huge amount of respect for real photographers. Having patience with kids who will not cooperate is HARD.
Right after this picture he ate his booger. I wish I had been quick enough to snap that picture.
This is about the 3rd picture I snapped of him. He kept saying "done mama, done."

This is my favorite of Josh. He was pretty easy to take pics of because he would actually listen.

My sweet baby. He was the hardest one to get to do anything, of course. Mostly because he kept trying to pull up on the blanket I used for the backdrop. I just had it draped over the crib so he thought it was so funny to pull it down.

I love his belly rolls. He is my chunkiest baby I have had. The other two were so skinny. Jacob has gorgeous little rolls.
Anyway, I am excited about how the pictures turned out and cant wait to see them on the card. Merry early Christmas to everyone since I am sure it will be months before I post anything again! :)

First, I had to post this picture because I think it is funny. It looks like Jacob is doing little baby push ups.
With each of our kiddos first Halloween we have taken their picture in a pumpkin. So this year it was all about Jacob! (But of course Josh and Noah had to get in on the action.)
Josh in his Halloween costume for the year. Bumblebee! Jacob was done with having pictures done before I could get his picture taken in his costume, but he is going to be the Hulk. Initially, my friend gave us a monkey costume for Jacob, which is, in my opinion anyway, way cuter then the hulk. But Josh was very insistent that a monkey costume is "so uncool" and that the only costume that would be cool enough would be a baby Hulk. Noah completely agreed. Nathan couldn't have cared less either way. So I was outvoted. Hulk it is. Pictures to follow.

And Jacob in his pumpkin! I had to buy a really big pumpkin because he is so big! He's easily 17 lbs by now! I can't believe he is almost 7 months old!
I love his little belly roll over his diaper in this one. :)

Since I put Jacob's pictures up I thought I would put Noah's and Josh's up as well to prove that we did indeed torture them as well and we are not just picking on Jacob. This is Noah. He was 4 months old in this picture.
And Joshua. He is 2 and 1/2 months here.
We are keeping busy here. Nathan is studying like crazy for the PE exam which he takes on the 28th. Keep your fingers crossed for him! It is a really intense test.
Joshua is in preschool in the afternoons and loves it. He is so smart. He amazes me sometimes with the things he can do.
Noah is Mr. attitude right now. I guess that is part of being 2. He is so darn cute and funny though that it makes it tolerable. He lives most of his life as a superhero and there are days that he will only answer to spiderman. He scares me to death the things he will climb and jump off of.
Jacob is starting to crawl a little. It is more of an army crawl right now, but I think he will be up on all 4's any day now. He is such a sweet baby. He is so smiley.

I had my 20 week ultrasound today. Everything looks great-which is always so great to hear. And we found out we are having another boy! We are so excited. Boys are so much fun. Here are a few pictures of our new little guy! I don't know why I can't get them to upload facing the right way...but you get the idea!

We had a really great Halloween. Josh and Noah had so much fun trick or treatin'. Josh wanted to carry on a conversation at each house with whoever was handing out the candy, so it took us a long time to go around the block. Noah loved to knock on the door, but got very shy as soon as someone actually opened it. Here are a few pictures of the boys in their costumes.

Josh loved to tell people he was a "super hero" for "Haslow-ween". I love that he talking better. He just says the funniest things.

Our little vampire. Noah loved the fact that people were giving him candy, but he would have rather done it without the costume. He was fairly unimpressed with it. I think he looked so cute though.
One random picture of Josh with the pumpkin we carved. This is obviously before we carved it. He was a little upset after it was carved because he wanted it to be a happy pumpkin and it ended up looking to scary.

My sweet little Noah. He was VERY grumpy for this little photoshoot, but Nathan managed to get a few really cute ones of him. Noah really like playing with the dandelions and each time I turned away he tried to eat them. I can't believe how big he is getting. Time goes too fast.
Josh LOVES having his picture taken. He has started doing this new cheesy smile each time we pull the camera out. He is such a funny boy.
I love this picture. Josh and Noah are such good little friends. They get along so well most of the time. Josh is always telling Noah he loves him and Noah misses Josh so much when Josh is in preschool.
Both boys with kind of smiles and eyes open! It's a miracle! We are going to go back out and try to get a few more pictures next week. I really want a couple more cute ones of Noah so we have to go when he is in a better mood. I think Nathan did a great job with the pictures though.

On July 4th we went to the celebration in downtown Fort Collins. They always have such great stuff down there. We did so many fun things! We played in the little splash park....
Which Noah of course loved...
He kept standing right over the fountains and laughing..

Josh did this jumping thing...when the guy was putting him in the harness he kept telling the guy "I am just so excited"...

But right before he got on he said "Mom, I am a little scared." I knew he would do great though. He is a very brave almost 3 year old.
Here you can see he is a little nervous. The guy really flung him up high in the air and Josh couldn't stop smiling after he was done. He had so much fun!

Why is it that babies have to grow up so dang fast! It seems like I just had Noah and already he is one! i am having so much fun watching him grow though. He has such a sweet little personality and is so smart! He loved his birthday. This is the extremely ugly but extremely yummy cake I made for him for his birthday.
We had a little party for him at Windsor Lake. We had several friends and family members come and celebrate our big boy with us. It all turned out so nice. The weather even cooperated.

NOAH'S FIRST HAIRCUT!

Nathan and I had always planned on cutting Noah's hair on his first birthday, but we decided today that it really just needed to be done. We were so tired of it always being in his eyes and i am sure he was too. So tonight Noah got his first haircut at 9 1/2 months old! I can't believe how different he looks! He looks like such a big boy. We cut off about 3-4 inches of hair. Here are his before and after pictures. They are in reverse order...but I didn't want to move them around.

I love how worried he looks in this picture. Poor guy didn't know what to think.

Look at that crazy hair! Part of me is sad it is gone!

Then I just had to throw this picture in here. Josh dressed himself today. He has one awesome sense of style!

Hello! It seems like it as been forever since I blogged-time goes way to fast anymore! Here are some new pictures of my boys-Joshua is now 2 1/2 and Noah is 9 months. Josh is now registered for preschool this fall-He is so excited to go to school with his friends. Noah is trying to walk-he can stand alone for a few seconds before he changes his mind and goes down to his knees to crawl. He is silly. :) We decided to try a new place for pictures this time around. we use to always like to go to kiddie kandids but since they closed down we had to find somewhere new. So we tried this new place for noahs's 9 month pics-he was misbehaving...but we got some cute ones of Josh! I dont think that we will go back to this new place-they really rushed the kids through the photos so they were a little stressed.
We are doing great over here. we are so ready for spring to get here and stay here. We keep having these nice warm days that kind of tease you and then the next day we get a foot of snow. So ready for snow to be gone for good this year!

Some random pictures of the boys! They are getting so big. Josh loves to play in Noah's jumper. He will sit in there for a long time and cry like a baby and jabber like Noah does...It is funny. Noah is into everything! he loves pushing buttons and finding places to hide. Babies grow up too fast!

Our boys are growing up so fast! Josh is now 2 1/2 and Noah is 6 months. Josh is talking like crazy and says the funniest things. Noah is crawling around quite well. He crawls like he is drunk, but does a really good job! He still prefers to be carried around though. He has discovered that Josh will pick him up anytime, which of course scares me to death. But if Josh is closer to him then I am he will crawl to josh and start climbing him to be picked up. Noah loves it. He gets the biggest smile on his face and i think it makes Josh feel very important. He is such a great big brother.

Here is one of my boy crawling. he is too big! And how did we ever get a redheaded baby?

Nathan and I decided to take our boys pictures for our Christmas card this year. I think they turned out good!
Things are good here. Josh loves having the house decorated and wants the tree turned on first thing in the morning. He is doing great with potty training-I cant even remember the last accident he had. The only hard thing right now is he still needs a little help when he goes and he gets up a few times during the night to go potty. Time to cut out drinks before bed I guess.
Noah is doing great to. He is now 5 months and is such a happy baby. He is just about sitting up by himself and can roll all over the room. He loves Josh so much. Josh can really get him giggling.
We are adjusting well to Noah's allergy. I think the only person it is hard on is me. No more peanut butter until I am done nursing. :( Josh and Nathan still get to sneak some when Noah isn't around.
Nathan and I are doing great to. Just trying to keep up with our boys!
Anyway, Merry Christmas! Hope you have a great one!

Josh and Noah are growing up way to fast! Noah is smiling more and more and has now started giggling-it is the sweetest thing. Josh is a great big bro...He loves to hold his brother and kiss him. He is talking like a pro finally- His favorite words being "do it" "no' "now" and "treat." Life is wonderful!!!!

Here are some pics from Josh's birthday and Noah's baptism. It was a fun weekend. All of nathan's fam was here and we went to a lake and the zoo. Josh had a blast with all of his cousins. Noah Joseph Abram was born on June 30th at 1:59 p.m. He weighed in at 5 lbs 10 ounces and 18.25 inches long. He is so small! He is doing great though-He has a very strong little personality already! He is a bit impatient...He couldn't even wait for the doctor to come for the delivery. One of my good friends was my labor nurse and caught him. He hates waiting even a second to eat. He wants me to be ready the second he is. Josh is doing great with him. He loves him so much. He gets very worried when he can't see the baby and loves to hold him. He calls him just "baby" or when we really try to get him to say Noah he says "NoNo" instead. We are all doing great though and are so excited for Noah to be here! Here are some pics...they are in no real order. Sorry.
Noah-2 days old. Nathan and Josh had a great time doing sparklers and small fireworks in our yard for the 4th. Josh was fascinated with the sparklers. Nathan had to really help him because he was a bit crazy with them, but he had fun. We also went to the City of lovelands fireworks which Josh thought were amazing. He kept clapping and yelling "WOW!" It was very cute!

We have had a pretty busy month. We spent a little over a week up in the Utah/Wyoming area visiting family. Josh and I went to the zoo and played with all the cousins. It was really fun. We missed Daddy while we were gone though. Here are a few pics of our travels.

Josh and Cael became quick friends. They are both rough and tough boys so they got along great. This is them holding hands at the Zoo.

Josh has recently started to like to pick out his own clothes. This is one of his cuter outfits he's picked out. He walked around so proud of himself. It was really funny.

We went to Rock Springs for the Memorial Day weekend. It was nice to spend some time with Nathan's family. Josh played and played with all of his cousins and was SO exhausted when it was time to leave that he slept almost the whole 4 hour drive home.

I thought this picture was adorable. I have a very tender hearted little boy. We were looking at the childrens memorial and I said to him "look at the sad little angel" he went over to the statue bent down and gave it a kiss. He then stood up and gave us a big grin as if to say "all better!"

A Boy!!!!

That's right-we are having a boy! Yesterdays ultrasound was a major shock. After being told last week that we were having a girl and that I had a complete placenta previa we found out yesterday I am having a boy and my placenta is nowhere near my cervix. Yeah! I think this little guy was a little sick of being called a girl because he was sure proud of his boy parts!

I don't know why this is turned this way. It isn't saved that way on the computer and I tried turning it all sorts of ways to get it to be the right way and it keeps coming up this way...so sorry! I wanted to show off his cute little face though!

And here is a picture of Josh-He is getting so big. We have had some gorgeous weather here so we have been able to play outside quite a bit. Josh has been loving it!

I cannot believe how fast time goes by these days. It seems like we just had Thanksgiving and already January is half over. Crazy. Anyway, we are all doing fantastic. Christmas was a blast. Josh wasn't all that interested in his presents, he was way more interested in the candy in his stocking. Nathan bought me a Wii for Christmas and we have had a blast playing it. I was sore for days after our first boxing match though. Sad huh? Nathan and I also celebrated our 5th anniversary on January 10th. It was a great day, made us both feel old...Life just flies by. Here are some random pics of josh. He is getting so big and smart. He makes me laugh everyday he does the funniest things. Kids are the greatest.

Joshua had a great halloween this year. We took him to the hospital Halloween party where he got to play games and trick or treat at the different departments, he trick or treated at Daddy's work, and then he got to trick or treat around the neighborhood. At first he didn't know what to think about trick or treating, but as soon as he realized that people were giving him tons of candy he couldn't get enough! He got really good at knocking on the door, yelling until they opened it, and then digging into the candy bucket with both hands. He did not want to go home. Once we were finally able to drag him home, he started giving out candy to the kids that came to our house. He would get so excited to see all the costumes. As soon as we would open the door he would start doing a little jig and then RUN over to help. Anyway, Halloween was a blast. Here are some pics of our little vampire. You can tell the ones we took early in they day because his hair was still slick and he still had the blood around his mouth. But I think they turned out pretty cute. Happy Halloween! Hope you all had as much fun as we did!

I just had to post to tell everyone about Nathan's latest accomplishment-he has been promoted to project engineer! That mean he will be running his own design projects and have other engineers working under him. Congrats Nathan-I am so proud of you!
Also I have decided to sign on as a nurse at Mckee medical center in Loveland. I have working there for a few years as a traveler, but have decided to become a regular there. I am pretty excited about it. I will miss the NICU in Greeley, but I still get some sick babies at Mckee mixed in with my labors so it should be o.k. I will miss my premies though!

Harvest festival!

Nathan, Josh, and I spent tonight at the Denver Rescue Missions Harvest farm festival. It was so fun to do something as a family. We walked through the corn maze (which suprisingly, Josh loved), roasted marshmallows on a bonfire, saw some animals, and did lots of other great things. It was so fun! Anyway, here are some pics of our adventures.

This picture is obviously not at the farm. This is at home. Josh is in deep trouble in this picture. He knows he is not suppose to play in the pantry....but it is his favorite thing! He is so good at making messes!

But then she remembered it is not really about the ring..blah blah blah blah. (It was really really really ugly.) Then I took her to SLC to pick out her real one (which is beautiful). She still wears the ugly one once in a while though for kicks.

1-I can clear a room with my gas-I am one stinky thing. Plus they are really loud and I laugh at them.

Playing at home!

Josh and I love to spend our days at home just playing. I could watch him play all day long. Here are some pictures of him just hangin out at home! He is getting so smart-and a little too brave. He will climb anything he can get any sort of foot hold on. He loves to stand on (or in) his toys. And he loves loves loves to jump off of things. Basically he is all boy! He does love to help mommy clean though. He is a great sweeper and duster and he loves to ride on the vaccuum while mommy pushes it around the house! Anyway, you can see for yourself he is definitely full of energy!

Well, Josh must have decided that one was a really big marker in his life because he has completely changed in the last three weeks since his birthday. He has decided to become a little boy instead of my baby. He is so independent. He wants to walk and explore everything everywhere we go-and, of course, all dirt, rocks, and bugs must be tasted! He is always one step ahead of me. Just when i think I have my house fairly well Josh proofed he finds something else to destroy. I never know where to find any of my kitchen stuff and we always have to look in our shoes before we put them on because you never know what he might have put in there. He sure keeps my days interesting! He also has some really fun new games. He has started making car noises when he drives his cars or trucks around. I have tried like mad to get a video of him making his car noises, but as soon as he see the camera come out he drops everything to attack me and the camera. It is so dang cute though! He has also recently discovered that not only can he throw a ball, but he can also kick it! He is so careful when he does it-you can see him thinking about it really hard right before he does it and he looks so proud to see that ball roll! He is just too dang big!
Otherwise not much is new here! Nathan is still fighting to get all his parts designed and built so they can finally starting taking down the nuclear power plant. I am still working just a few nights a week. I have had several interesting nights lately when I got to deliver the baby without the doc-that is one of the highlights of my job! It is such a rush to be the first person to grab onto that new little life. Recently I have been paying more attention to the dads when the baby is delivered. Watching Nathan and Josh interact has sure opened up my eyes to how much daddy's love their babies. We tend to focus so much on the mothers and their reaction to the baby that the dad gets forgotten. But now I almost always look at the daddy first. The look of total joy and wonder that takes over their faces when they first see their new babes is absolutly incredible. I usually have such a fun job.
Anyway-life is good! Everyday is an adventure and I love every second of it!

Here are a few of Josh eating his cake. He really put away a lot of cake...I was pretty shocked afterwards...He had a lot of fun rubbing it on his tummy and in his hair once he was done eating though! We also just let him clean himself off with the hose when he was done-he was in heaven! The last pic shows of his new haircut. We had his first haircut done on the 1st. He really hated having his hair cut-I am pretty sure he thought it was some new form of torture, but the lady gave him a sucker for each hand and then it wasn't nearly as bad!

My baby is ONE! I can't believe how time goes so fast now. I remember when I was younger that time always seemed to move so slow. Now it moves by in an instant!

Josh had his first birthday party on Saturday. It turned out really really well. We had about 20 kids and 20 adults show up and we had a BBQ and a balloon artist came over to entertain the kids. After the balloon guys was done they played with water balloons and did other things outside. It was great. Josh ATTACKED his cake it was really funny. The first bite he took was a little tentative, but then he dove into it. He wasn't all that interested in his presents...but he sure loved the paper and the boxes!

Well..Josh is freaking out so I guess I am done blogging for right now! I will post his cake pictures soon!

Italy

Well, we are home! We just got back from our week long trip to Italy. We had a blast. We spent 3 days in Rome, 1 day on a train, and 3 days in Venice. Here are some pictures they aren't in any real order...I am to lazy to put them in any real order right now. This first on is a picture of Josh walking around in St. Peters Basilica in Vatican City. He was so good on the trip. He just went along with whatever we were doing that day-such a good boy!
This is a picture of the Roman Colliseum. It was so interesting to learn about the gladiators and the other events that went on in this building. Everything was so OLD-the colliseum was build in 81 A.D.
This is a picture of Vatican City. The Vatican was one of the most incredible things about the trip. We got to walk all through the museums and see the Sistine Chapel by Michalangelo and other very famous art pieces. We also were in the Basilica once during Mass-it was so awesome.
This is a "traffic jam" in venice. Before we went I wasn't really able to imagine a city build entirely around water, but once I got there I realized it really worked quite well! they have water taxis and buses and it was really easy to get anywhere we wanted to go.

Josh is at such a fun age right now. He learns so much everyday. He is so curious about everything and is so good at getting into things. I love just sitting back and watching him play and learn. He is definitely all boy-he loves balls, his trucks, and getting really really dirty. Today Josh made a very big, messy discovery-spaghetti! He learned that you can do so much fun stuff with those sticky noodles-you can throw them on the floor, put them in your hair, shove them down your diaper, and even eat a few! He looked so proud of himself when he discovered that you can put just the end of the noodle in your mouth and then slurp the rest of it right on in! Needless to say he had a ball and he has a new favorite food.

Anyway, things are great over here. Nathan has been really busy at work trying to get all his drawings done and I have been busy here at home with Josh and working a few nights a week. We leave for our vacation to Italy on Wednesday so we are getting pretty excited for that. We are a little nervous about having an 11 month old on a plane for 12 hours though-we would love some tips! I am also really excited to head up to Cokeville for the 24th celebration. I haven't been up for that in 6-7 years so it should be fun to go. Life is so busy-and goes by way to fast! Everyday is such an a fun and amazing adventure! LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Stephanie told me that I needed to post some pics of Josh, so I decided this was a great time to update everyone on our lives. Josh and I went to Cokeville for 5 days last week. We had a blast playing with Angela and her kids and hangin with grandma. I have lots of pictures that hopefully i will get posted soon of Josh and Angela's kids. I am such a slacker. Anyway, so we had a blast in Cokeville even though it was stinkin cold the whole time we were there. It rained everyday.
Other big news in our lives is that Josh is now an expert walker. He thinks he is so darn big. He walks around with this big grin. He also tries to run, but trips all over his feet.
Anyway, life is good over here. We are getting really excited to leave for Italy in 2 weeks. It is really creeping up on us. We can't believe how fast time goes by now!

Andrews Wedding

Over Memorial Day weekend we went to Rock Springs for Andrews wedding. Nathan was the best man so he had to wear a tux so we wanted to get a tux for Josh to wear too. He looked so darn cute in it. He also had his first dance and got his first kiss-from his cousin Nakeysha.

Windsor tornado

The town right next to ours got hit by a huge tornado. It was so scary. Nathan was at work in Loveland and Josh and I were at home. Our power was out all day so we didnt' know there was a tornado until after it was over even though it was just a little over a mile from our house. It is amazing how you become so isolated without phones or TV or internet or anything. Anyway though, here is a video of the tornado. It caused so much damage. Really, really sad.

Well, I have so much fun reading Steph's and Gwen's posts that I decided I really needed to do this blogging thing. I don't have my page set up yet, I will get around to it eventually. I am excited to be able to share vidoes and things though.
Big news though! Josh took his first steps on Monday. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited. We were all clapping and laughing and Josh looked so proud of himself. It was really adorable. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. It just seems like yesterday that I had him. He is the funnest little person. he is so full of energy and attitude. I could just sit and watch him all day.
I am at work right now. It is 2 a.m. and I am working in the nursery tonight. I just have one patient. A little premie learning how to eat. She is adorable. I have such a fun job. It is hard and sad sometimes, but mostly I like it. I am a nurse in labor and delivery and NICU.
Anyway, I am looking forward to setting up my page and hopefully I get better at this blogging thing!
